I am a qualified nutrition and lifestyle consultant living in West Sussex, married with 4 grown up children. I studied at the Institute of Health Sciences and am a fully accredited member of the Federation of Nutritional Practitioners (fntp).
In 2015 after a diagnosis of Breast Cancer I decided to take control of my health and wellbeing. There was so much confusing and contradictory information out there which is why I embarked upon professional training. My own health needs had been bottom of the list for years, so common in big busy families with all the daily stresses of modern life. But it is never too late to take control of your own health and lifestyle choices.
Five years on I am in great shape. Healthy on the inside, strong, stress free and I eat an amazing nutritious diet including all food groups but some in moderation! My immune system is strong, I haven’t had a cough or a cold in five years. I recently went through some interesting body composition testing and blood test analysis and I am within the healthy range across the board so that felt like confirmation that my way of eating and lifestyle choices are working!
A lifetime of developing habits which potentially endanger your health cannot be undone in a flash. So small changes are best to sustain longterm success and it is never too late to take control of your health.
My mission at Healthier Outcomes is to help you to be the best, healthiest version that you can be.
Food is fuel and you can choose whether to give your body the best in order to live a healthy, energised life.
Think of your body as your car. Put in the right fuel and away you go, driving smoothly and reaching your destination. Put in the wrong fuel and you will be spluttering, coughing and finally breaking down.
Feed your body a nutrient rich diet and it will give you a smoother ride, feed it poorly and it will gradually deteriorate.
